Privacy Policy

Motqn is operated by Idealyze LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ("Motqn", "we", "us"). For teacher and school account information, Motqn is the data controller. For student information that teachers or schools upload, Motqn acts as a processor on their behalf (see "Student data" below).

As a platform serving teachers and schools in many countries, we treat international data-protection standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as the baseline for how we design and operate the service.

Account information. Your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider), school, the subjects and grades you teach, and your preferred language. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

Content you upload or create. Textbooks and other files you upload (such as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text, and images), and everything you create with Motqn: lesson plans, presentations, exams, worksheets, rubrics, games, stories, images, and your conversations with the Tabshoura assistant.

Student work. When you use automated grading, the answer sheets you upload, the answer key, and the resulting scores and feedback. If you upload a class list to match papers to students, the names on that list.

Voice sessions. When you use Tabshoura Plus, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our AI provider to generate spoken replies. We do not store audio recordings. The session's text conversation, the materials it builds, and the shared whiteboard are saved to your chat history so you can reopen the session later.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan, and payment history, but we never receive or store your full card number.

Usage and device information. Which features you use, how much of your plan you consume, technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and error reports), and how you interact with pages such as checkout, including answers to optional feedback questions.

• To provide the service you request, such as lesson preparation, content generation, automated grading, and the Tabshoura assistant (performance of our contract with you).
• To manage your account, plan, usage allowance, and payments (performance of our contract with you).
• To keep Motqn secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems (our legitimate interests).
• To understand how Motqn is used and improve its features and reliability (our legitimate interests).
• To send you service messages and, where you have agreed, news about new features (contract or consent).
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell personal information, we do not use student data for advertising, and neither we nor our AI providers use your content or your students' data to train AI models.

Motqn uses Google Gemini as its main AI provider to process uploaded content, assistant conversations, and voice sessions for features including grading, content generation, and the Tabshoura assistant. OpenAI is used to generate images and as an automatic backup: if a Google service is unavailable, the same request is sent to an equivalent OpenAI model so your work is not interrupted.

• We use the paid business APIs of both providers. Under their terms, customer data is not used to train their models.
• The providers may keep request data for a limited period for abuse monitoring, as described in their API terms.
• Documents are uploaded for processing and removed from processing servers after the task is completed.
• During grading, a student name may be detected to match the paper with a class list, then obscured in the stored copy.
• Student files are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible.

You can share exams, games, lessons, and presentations through public links. Anyone who has a link can view that item, so share links only with the people you intend to see them. You can stop sharing or delete the item at any time.

You can connect Motqn to third-party AI assistants, such as ChatGPT or Claude, so they can create content in your Motqn account on your behalf. You approve each connection on a Motqn consent screen, and the assistant can only use the permissions you grant. Information you share inside that assistant is governed by its provider's privacy policy. You can revoke a connection at any time.

We share information only with providers that help us run Motqn, and only as needed for their service:

• Google: Gemini AI processing, Google sign-in, and Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager
• OpenAI: image generation and backup AI processing
• Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage
• Stripe: payment processing
• Netlify: website and application hosting

These providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to protect it.

• The teacher or school is the controller of student data; Motqn acts as a processor on its behalf.
• The teacher or school confirms it is legally authorized to upload student data and has obtained required consent, including parental consent where applicable.
• Student data is used only to provide educational services and is not sold or used for advertising.
• Student data can be corrected or deleted through the teacher account or by contacting us.

Motqn is designed for teachers and school staff. Students do not create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Student information reaches Motqn only through a teacher or school, under the responsibility described above. If you believe a child has given us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

• AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.
• Automated grading results are assistive; the teacher makes the final grading decision.
• Tabshoura is a tool for teachers, not a student tutor, and it stays within educational topics.
• Motqn does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through AI without human involvement.

• We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active.
• You can delete individual items, such as plans, exams, or grading results, at any time.
• When you delete your account from Settings, your account and the content you own are permanently deleted, and any active subscription is cancelled. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten.
• We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information, including by deleting your account.
• Receive your information in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Students and parents should contact the teacher or school that uploaded their information, and we will support that teacher or school in responding.

• Essential: cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language preference. Motqn does not work without them.
• Analytics: Google Analytics on motqn.ai and Google Tag Manager on the sign-in and trial pages, which help us understand how visitors use these pages.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how Motqn works.

We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, private file storage, and access controls that limit each account to its own data. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified provider. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

We may update this policy as Motqn evolves. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
